CentroMed operates a network of 20 clinic sites that offer comprehensive quality care by offering Family Practice, Pediatrics, Women's Health/OB Gyn and Walk-In appointments. CentroMed offers dental care services to children and families. Services include complete dental exams (x-rays and oral exams), as well as preventative care (cleaning, sealants and fillings). CentroMed offers a behavioral health department that provides therapeutic counseling services to individuals and families. Bilingual masters-level professional therapists assist children and adults with many concerns including: school truancy, alcholism, drug abuse, stress management, grief and loss, marital problems, behavior problems, anger management, depression, anxiety, incest and sexual abuse, physical abuse, family violence and parenting.
Healthcare for the Homeless
CentroMed has been providing healthcare to homeless persons since 1989. CentroMed works with various partnering agencies to ensure that homeless persons have access to healthcare services. The healthcare for the homeless clinic sites primarily serve patients that reside on campus. In April 2009 CentroMed relocated clinics at three homeless sites to the Haven for Hope campus in San Antonio. This clinic, now known as the Sarah Davidson Clinic, provides healthcare to homeless persons and area residents presenting to the clinic.
CentroMed operates 2 full-service pharmacies for its patients -- CentroMed Pharmacy (at South Park) and CentroMed Pharmacy-Walzem. These pharmacies can fill in-house prescriptions from CentroMed providers for established patients.

WIC (Women, Infants and Children)
CentroMed WIC provides pregnant and postpartum women, along with infants and children up to the age of five nutritional services. WIC ensures that qualifying families receive nutrition education in conjunction with supplemental foods. PMNC Parenting Program
CentroMed offers the The Precious Minds New Connections (PMNC) Parenting Program providing expectant parents, parents and caregivers of children ages three and under, a unique opportunity to engage in an interactive group process that promotes 1) optimal brain development, 2) supportive caregiver/child relationships, and 3) prevents child abuse and neglect. Elder Day Activity Center
CentroMed operates two programs that operate within the same facility:
1) The Day Activity Health Services (DAHS) program is a state-licensed program designed to provide health services to aged and disabled persons who reside in the south San Antonio community. 2) The Activity Center for the Frail Elderly (ACFE) program seeks to meet the social needs of clients ages 60 or older who reside in south San Antonio community. HIV services are provided to adults age 18 and older. These services have been partially funded by Ryan White since 1992. CentroMed coordinates closely with other agencies providing HIV services to ensure that patients receive appropriate supportive and specialty services.
