Medical and Dental Professionals


CentroMed's medical and dental staff have been trained at top programs across the country. Because of CentroMed's high standards of patient care, professional work environment, and strong values, our medical and dental professionals tend to remain with CentroMed for many years.


CentroMed's sites are designated National Health Service Corps, NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program, and State of Texas Loan Repayment Program sites, providing forgiveness or repayment of a portion of the employee's student loans in exchange for a given number of years of service. CentroMed's service areas are designated as both a Medically Underserved Area (MUA) and Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).

Applications may be faxed to (210) 271-7208 and addressed to Human Resources Department, e-mailed to centromed_careers.cdb@tachc.org, or filed at the main office located at 3750 Commercial Ave., San Antonio, TX 78221 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. A résumé may be submitted in addition to, but not in lieu of, an application, and applicants must provide all information that is requested in the application. Applicants invited to interview will be contacted; due to the volume of applications, telephone inquiries on the status of applications cannot be entertained.

Internships and Americorps VISTA Positions


CentroMed has a variety of opportunities for student interns in social work, public health, health education, and other areas. A number of Americorps VISTA positions are also available for recent graduates seeking forgiveness of a portion of their student loans in exchange for a specific number of years of service.
